Data Stored on Your Device
NextEp stores your tracked shows, watched episode history, and app settings locally on your device using a private database. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud Sync.
iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud Sync, your tracked shows, watched episode progress, and settings are stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud storage. This data is synced only between your own devices signed into the same Apple ID. NextEp has no access to your iCloud account or any data synced through it.
TV Show Data
NextEp uses the TVMaze API to fetch show details, episode listings, cast, and images. When you search for shows, your search terms are sent to TVMaze's servers. These requests include no personal information. See TVMaze's privacy policy for their data practices.
Notifications
Episode air notifications are scheduled locally on your device and are not sent through any external server.
Data Deletion
To delete all data stored by NextEp, delete the app from your device. This permanently removes all locally stored show and episode data. If you have iCloud Sync enabled, open Settings in the app and disable iCloud Sync — you will be offered the option to delete your data from iCloud as well.
Your Rights
Because NextEp stores data only on your own device and iCloud account, you have full control over your data at all times. You can view or delete it by managing the app or your iCloud account. California residents: we do not sell personal information. EU residents: for any questions about TVMaze's handling of your data, contact TVMaze directly.
